The admission period has been announced, thus it is encouraged that applicants submit their applications as soon as possible to avoid missing the deadline. Applications to join Reddam House, Bedfordview is accepted throughout the year and entry will be granted dependent on assessment outcomes and availability.

What documents will I need when applying?

For the online application, these documents must be submitted and attached to the application.

  • Unabridged birth certificate;
  • Full vaccination chart;
  • Both parents’ IDs/passports;
  • Final academic report for the previous year;
  • Most recent academic report for the current year;
  • Copies of reports from all Occupational Therapists and/or Physiotherapists and/or Speech Therapists and/or Psychologists who have assessed your child (if applicable); and
  • Proof of payment of the non-refundable application fee of R500.

In the case of foreign students making an application please also attach:

  • The applicant’s student visa and passport, as well as, the parents’ passports and work permits/visas.

 

How to Apply for admission at Reddam House Bedfordview

The first step is to complete the online application form.

Upon completion of the online application form, a school tour can be arranged for the prospective family to view their school. They also offer prospective students an opportunity to come and experience first-hand the school environment by spending a school day at Reddam House, Bedfordview, or a shorter stay-and-play option for younger children considering the Early Learning School. Prospective students applying for Grades 1 to 11 will enjoy a normal day at Reddam House Bedfordview.

Following a successful assessment and interview with the Headmaster/Headmistress, a letter of acceptance is issued to the parents and a routine administration process is followed.

In addition, there is the following option on how to apply:

  • Go to the official website of the school
  • At the top menu of the page, click on the “Apply for Admission” tab
  • All new applicants must complete the application form before applying. They will not process applications without filling out the forms.
  • Attach the necessary document when applying
  • Complete and submit your application for evaluation

Who can apply?

Reddam House, Bedfordview welcomes applications for admission to the Early Learning School (Stage 1 to Stage 5), the Junior Preparatory (Grades 1 to 3), the Senior Preparatory School (Grades 4 to 7), and the College (Grades 8 to 12).
