Stirling High School Academic Facilities

Stirling’s academic facilities are impressive and include all the basics needed for academic teaching, including computer laboratories; Natural Science, Life Science, Technology and Consumer Science laboratories; three lecture theatres; a library and many well-equipped classrooms.

Stirling prides itself on keeping up with the latest educational technological advances, ensuring that students are part of the real world. The school has 120 computers in three laboratories available for students and there is a closely-monitored broadband Internet and email access for all students. All classrooms have state-of-the-art computers, Internet and electronic whiteboard systems and the school has a fibre-optic backbone linking all classrooms to the virtual servers. Document and information required for the admission of a learner

For both the online and the manual applications, the following documents are required. For the online application, these documents must be scanned in and attached to the application.

  • Id or unabridged birth certificate of the child
  • One ID photo of the learner
  • Latest school report
  • ID copies of both parents/guardians
  • Copy of Court Order if the learner is placed under Guardianship
  • Clearance Certificate of previous school & latest statement
  • Proof of residence (water & lights acc)
  • Copy of Divorce Agreement, if applicable
  • Copy of the Maintenance Court Order if applicable
  • Copy of medical aid card
  • Copy of death certificate (if applicable)
  • Proof of income for both parents/guardians
  • Proof of unemployment for both parents/guardians (if applicable: Letter from Dept of Labour)
  • Copy of grant received
  • Copy of the child’s Immunisation Card

How to apply to Stirling High School for the Academic Year

  • Go to the official website of the school
  • At the top menu of the page, click on the “Apply for Admission” tab
  • All new applicants must complete the application form before applying. They will not process applications without filling out the forms.
  • Attach the necessary document when applying
  • Complete and submit your application for evaluation
