Admissions Process for St Peters College Sandton
St Peter’s College is an independent co‐educational day school linked to the Anglican Church, drawing on the strengths and ethos of the St Peter’s Boys and Girls Prep schools. The College enrolment is currently about 630 students from ages 13 to 18.
Selecting the school that is right for your child is a very important decision and they believe that a personal visit is invaluable. They very much hope that you and your child will visit St Peter’s. They hold two Open Days per year in March and September that gives a general introduction to the school. They are also happy to take prospective parents and their children on a tour of the campus at other times. How to Apply for Admissions for St Peters College Sandton
They recommend that you apply for a place at St Peter’s College when your child is in at least Grade 4 or Grade 5. Early application will increase your child’s chances of securing a place.
Process:
- Complete and submit an enrolment application form together with the required documentation to admissions@stpeterscollege.co.za.
- Your application will be acknowledged and placed on the waiting list in accordance with the admissions policy.
- They recommend you attend at least one Open Day (annually, usually in March and August)
You will be contacted in the first quarter of your child’s Grade 7 year to schedule an interview with the headmaster or deputy heads. - Based on your application credentials, interview, a confidential report from your child’s current school and credit check, you may receive a place offer.
- On acceptance, and in accordance with the guidelines set out by the Independent Education Board (IEB), you will be required to pay a deposit equivalent to one term’s tuition fee. This deposit is fully refunded to you when your child completes matric.
