Inkamana High School invites all students to apply for admission in the academic year 2024-2025. Parents who want to enroll their children in Inkamana High School may do so during the academic year.
Therefore, prospective students must submit an online application for admission before the application closing date or deadline at http://www.inkamana.co.za/apply-now/.

The medium of instruction is English.

SUBJECTS: Grades 8 & 9

• Language, Literacy, and Communication (Zulu Home Language; English and Afrikaans)
• Mathematics.
• Social Sciences.
• Natural Sciences.
• Technology (including Computer Literacy)
• Arts and Culture
• Life Orientation (including Religious Education).
• Economic and Management Sciences.

SUBJECTS: GRADES 10, 11 & 12

• Religious Education.
• Computer literacy.
• Zulu Home Language.
• English First Additional Language.
• Afrikaans Second Additional Language.
• Mathematics
• Physical Sciences or Accounting.
• Life Science or History.
• Life Orientation.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Students are expected to participate in at least one sport activity (according to the season) as well as one cultural activity

SPORTS AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES OF THE SCHOOL include:

Athletics, soccer, rugby, volleyball, netball, canoeing, swimming (for relaxation), and tennis. Drama, choir, public speaking, chess, marimba band, and drumming.

 

ADMISSION

• Applications for 2024 open on January 2024 and close on April 2024. Please submit your application as soon as possible
• To apply download and print the preliminary application form
• Complete it
• Submit it together with the following supporting documents:
  • 1 x copy of the student’s Birth Certificate (certified)
  • 1 x copy of the student’s Birth Certificate (not certified)
  • 1 x copy of the student’s Baptismal Certificate
  • A copy of the student’s December report for 2024 (both sides)
  • A copy of the student’s March 2024 report
    (Please send immediately when available).
  • A copy of the 2019 medical aid Card (showing both sides) – only if applicable
  • A copy of the student’s clinic card since birth with all inoculations
  • 2 Passport sized photos – stapled to the Application form.
  • Certified copies of both parent’s or legal guardians’ ID documents
  • Certified copy of Death certificate of parent (if applicable)
    

NO ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS PLEASE

• Post to: The Principal, Inkamana High School, Private Bag X9333, Vryheid, 3100 OR
• Deliver by hand to the School, six kilometers south of Vryheid on the road to Melmoth
• Faxed or e-mail applications are not accepted

WHAT COMES NEXT?

• Applicants will be notified of receipt of the application by e-mail.
• Prospective students and their parents are invited to the Inkamana for an interview.
• A non-refundable application fee of R100 is to be paid on the day of the interview. school application forms 2024

Inkamana High School Fees 2024-2025

FEES:

2024:	R2 600 school fee and R26 000 boarding fee and app.; R2 600 for textbooks/uniforms etc.
2024:	The fees for 2024 will be determined during the last term of 2024.

PAYMENTS:

A deposit of R3000 is due in advance to confirm acceptance for the next year.
An amount of R6000 is due before arrival at the beginning of the new school year.
The remaining fees can be paid

• In full on 1 February or
• Monthly installments of R2650 from 1 February to 1 October
• Stop orders are preferred and can be arranged
• School and Hostel fees must be paid in full by 1 October.
