St Charles College Admissions 2024-2025: College Application Form

The College is an independent boys’ school and offers places to boys in accordance with its goals to compete across academic, sporting, and cultural areas. They look for a diverse group of boys with the attitude and values that characterize their College; a group that is willing to contribute to b building excellence at the College.

For the academic year 2024–2025, St. Charles College Admission is accepting applications from competent prospective students who want to attend the institution. Please remember to submit all required documentation, whether you apply manually or online.

Document and information required for the admission of a learner

For both the online and the manual application, the following documents are required:

• Id or unabridged birth certificate of the child
• One ID photo of the learner
• Latest school report
• ID copies of both parents/guardians
• Copy of Court Order if the learner is placed under Guardianship
• Clearance Certificate of previous school & latest statement
• Proof of residence (water & lights acc)
• Copy of Divorce Agreement, if applicable
• Copy of the Maintenance Court Order if applicable
• Copy of medical aid card
• Copy of death certificate (if applicable)
• Proof of income for both parents/guardians
• Proof of unemployment for both parents/guardians (if applicable: Letter from Dept of Labour)
• Copy of grant received
• Copy of the child’s Immunisation Card

DOCUMENTATION

The following are required:

• An application form
• A current photograph of your son
• A copy of your son’s unabridged birth certificate
• A copy of your son’s latest school report

In addition, the College will request a confidential report from your son’s current Primary School. * Please ensure that all the information supplied is up to date.

St Charles College is a through-school and accepts applications for places in each of the Five Schools that make up their One College from Grade 000 (boys 3 turning 4 in their year of entry) to Grade 12.

STEP 1 Scan your documents:

• A Copy of your son’s Unabridged Birth Certificate
• B Recent photograph of your son
• C Scanned copy of the Applicants most recent school report *

*For Pre-Primary School boys who don’t have a report yet, only upload documents A & B

Please note that your online application will only proceed once the correct number of documents have been uploaded.

STEP 2 Applications for brothers:

• Contact the College to obtain your Ed-Admin Parent ID
• Be ready to enter the number when required to pull all your existing information into your application form
