Carter High School Admissions 2024-2025: Carter high school fees

Welcome to Carter High School. Students may now apply for the 2024–2024 academic year thanks to the school’s admissions season. Carter High School admission is accepting students who are interested in attending the institution during the academic year 2024–2025.

All Parents/Guardians of the student are recommended to provide all relevant documentation during the admissions season when applying their ward to the School.

Carter High School Academic Subject

Carter follows the national curriculum of South Africa Outcome-Based Education (OBE) system and writes the National Senior Certificate examinations, achieving a pass rate of 96.6% for 2024.

Core Subjects offered:

• English as a primary language (HL)
• Either Afrikaans or isiZulu as a first additional language (FAL)
• Core Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
• Life Orientation (including Physical Education)

In Grades 8 and 9, learners will have the opportunity to study all of the other subjects offered at the school. In addition to the four core subjects, learners will be required, in their third term of Grade 9, to select three additional subjects which they will study from Grade 10 until Matric.

Carter High 2024 Grade 9 Subject Choice Booklet

 

Document and information required for the admission of a learner

Anyone wishing to apply for any Grade is invited to read the documents below. Your application will be placed on the waiting list.

• A copy of the learner’s birth certificate.
• The School’s prescribed application form.
• Proof that the learner has been immunized.
• An original transfer card for the learner where he/she is transferring from one school (independent or public) to the School.
• A copy of any reports that will assist the School in understanding the educational needs of the learner.
• Proof of the residential address(es) of the learner and both parents (which proof may include a copy of a title deed, existing lease agreement, and/or utility bill or bank statement not older than three months).
